KUNDALINI AIRPORT is based in north Goa (India).
The band includes Paco:Sitar/Vocals/Compositions,
Ori Balak: Drums, Nicolas Lafargue: Bass, Iftach Harari: Didjereedoo and Julien Di Maiolo: Tabla.
Every year they get together around october and play up to april. They play everywhere possible: beach shacks, cafes, markets, hotels, friends' gardens, festivals, yoga centers...

The formation is often reduced to a trio ( Sitar-Vocal / Tabla / Didjeredoo ) for some very cool chill-out and even sometimes as a duo: Sitar-Vocal / Tabla or Sitar-Vocal / Didjeredoo.

KUNDALINI AIRPORT plays "Indian Fusion", most of them have a Rock or Reggae background, some study or have been studying Indian Classical Music.
They play only compositions, instrumentals or songs, with a big place given to improvisation. Of course the tracks get different, different colours in quintet or in trio, or according to who is invited...
The lyrics explore the eastern traditions of devotional music: Hindu, Sufi and Buddhist, with sometimes adaptations of poetry: Khalil Gibran, Milarepa...

They start now their 5th "Season" in north Goa,and we'll reach our 300th gig before the end of 2008.
